Why we exist
We started building Uptriva in 2025 after one too many nights wrestling with tools that charged enterprise prices for basic uptime checks. The market was split between oversimplified free tiers and overcomplicated enterprise suites — with nothing in between for teams that just want reliable monitoring.
In 2026, we launched with a single focus: uptime monitoring that respects your time, your budget, and your data. No feature bloat. No surprise bills. No black-box infrastructure you cannot trust.
Every line of code, every check interval, and every alert is designed around one question: does this help you sleep better?
The story so far
The frustration
One too many 3 AM false alarms and invoices that scaled faster than the infrastructure. Existing tools charged enterprise prices for a URL ping — and saw nothing behind the firewall.
First commits
Started building what we actually wanted: global probes plus a self-hosted agent that reaches into private networks. Monitoring where external probes cannot reach.
One platform
Status pages, incident management, on-call rotations, SMS and voice alerts, game-server checks — one platform instead of five subscriptions.
Invite-only beta
Real users, real feedback, real edge cases. Every decision since has been shaped by the people monitoring their own infrastructure with it.
Public launch
