Founding licenses: how it works, and why we built it this way
Uptriva is fully bootstrapped — no VC, no external funding. That keeps the roadmap honest, but it also means infrastructure costs money we don't have yet. The next milestone is a multi-region probe network: dedicated monitoring nodes with public IPs that run checks from multiple locations and take load off the core cluster.
To fund it, we're offering 35 lifetime licenses across three tiers — Premium (20), Elite (10), Scale (5). One payment, permanent access to the plan tier, every future feature included. When they're gone, they're gone: monthly subscriptions only.
Honest scarcity, live numbers
The counters on /founding are not marketing decoration. They're served live from our billing API — the same numbers that decide whether Polar lets a checkout through. When a tier sells out, the product is archived automatically and no further checkout is possible.
Early-bird pricing steps with real purchases: Premium starts at €149 for the first 5, then €179, then €199. If someone withdraws, the slot reopens and the price steps back down — the counter goes down too. Nothing is inflated, nothing is faked.
The honest part: current infrastructure
Today, early access runs on a single region — EU-Central, on our core cluster. That's enough to evaluate the platform for real: monitors, status pages, escalation chains, SMS and call alerting all work today. Founding revenue goes directly into the multi-region rollout, and once it ships this offer closes.

Withdrawal and refunds
14 days, no questions asked — withdraw in the dashboard or by email, refund via Polar (our Merchant of Record). SMS and call add-ons refund proportionally by used units. After 14 days the money is in servers — that's the deal, and we'd rather say it plainly.
