Getting Started

Create your first monitor and status page in minutes.

Overview

ShxrkSystems Uptime continuously checks your services from our monitoring regions and tells you the moment something breaks — via email, SMS, call, Discord or webhook.

Your first monitor

  1. Open the dashboard at app.shxrk.systems and go to Uptime
  2. Choose a status page (or create one — every monitor belongs to a status page)
  3. Click New Monitor, pick a type like HTTP, enter the target URL and an interval
  4. Save — checks start within seconds

When the monitor fails, its status turns to down, an incident can be created automatically, and every configured alert channel fires.

Your first status page

Status pages are the public face of your uptime — hosted by us or on your own domain.

  1. Go to Uptime → Status Pages → New Status Page
  2. Pick a slug — your page is live at status.shxrk.systems/<slug> immediately
  3. Assign monitors, customize branding, optionally connect a custom domain

Or automate it via the API

Everything above is one request each — create the page, then the monitor:

curl -X POST https://api.shxrk.systems/api/v1/uptime/status-pages \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer sk_shx_..." \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{ "name": "Acme Status", "slug": "acme", "is_public": true }'

curl -X POST https://api.shxrk.systems/api/v1/uptime/monitors \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer sk_shx_..." \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "name": "API health",
    "type": "http",
    "target": "https://api.acme.com/health",
    "status_page_id": "<uuid from above>",
    "interval": 60,
    "expected_status": 200,
    "failure_threshold": 3
  }'

See the REST API docs for tokens, or browse every endpoint in the API Explorer.

What to do next

  • Alerting: connect Discord, webhooks, email, SMS or phone calls — see Integrations
  • Incidents: create manual incidents or let monitors auto-create them
  • Agents: install a lightweight agent to monitor internal servers
  • Automation: manage everything through the REST API
